My Space World simulations framework software uses the optional 3-state graphics for each Space Object in a settable way. If the desired effect is to animate the 3 display state graphics in a quick succession sprite animation, then proceed to build an Object in the usual way. However, for simulated Space Objects that are not alive, such as space, air, and naval craft, sprite animation is unnecessary. So, the other two graphics states (Before-Rest and After-Rest), are available for other use. For instance the Before-Rest graphics can show the “damaged” state of the object and the After-Rest graphics can show the “destroyed” state of the object.
By setting the "NO Part Animation" checkbox in the Object Editor, the 3 panes of graphics are not sprite animated, but instead display the At-Rest position as the default, continually. If such an object is damaged, it instead displays the Before-Rest position graphics. If the object is destroyed (but not to the point of exploding, yet), the After-Rest graphics is continually displayed.
Here are some new "How To" videos I've made that pertain to these features:
1. Misc. Space World Features
2. Make Private Texture Sprite Object
3. Make 3 State No Sprite
Previously, I published less advanced tutorials on the use of Space World's tools:
1. Make a Simple Object
2. Make Mixed Global Texture Object
3. Add a Spinner to an Object
4. Make a Spline Path
5. Add a pre-built Spline from PartsLibrary
Space World's toolset is omnipresent and powerful. Space World's toolset can be used to easily make simulated Objects. This framework is an all-in-one application. It includes everything from prototyping to implementation of a final simulated world.
I am selling my Space World software with an exclusive source code sale. This means I am selling it "lock, stock, and barrel" to whoever has the best offer. The price is $220,000. I will only consider serious offers. It is currently available on the Windows PC platform, running .NET version 4.0 or higher.
Anyone interested in licensing this software may email me at: Luci_Zane@outlook.com.
